BEST STAND AWARDS | VISIT FLANDERS TAKES TOP AWARD


The stand out stands at this year’s WTM London were announced on the Tuesday, with Flanders, Egypt and Kerala among the winners. The Best Stand award went to Visit Flanders. With the judges admiring Flanders’ yellow seating and ‘homely’ café style. Highly commended by the judges in this category were Qatar Tourism Authority’s stylish stand


which presented the destination’s heritage or modernity depending on the angle from which it is viewed, and Costa Rica Tourism Board’s stand, which includes imported orchids. Most Innovative Stand Within the


Travel Tech Show @ WTM was judged to be PaySec.


Best Stand for Doing Business was Egyptian Tourist Authority. Where

Furthermore, more than 3,000 (3,034) of the world’s media were in attendance – the highest number for more than ten years – making the WTM International Press Centre the largest recurring press operation in the UK. The WTM International Press Centre was moved to the exhibitor floor for the first time to put the media at the heart of the event.
