Discovering key trends

The World Travel Market 2015 Industry Report was presented to delegates at the WTM London Forecast Forum on Day One of this year’s event. The report is based on two independent surveys conducted in September. One is a poll of over 2,000 WTM London stakeholders comprising tourist boards as well as private sector travel industry organisations plus senior buyers and travel trade visitors while the other is a survey of a cross-section of the UK public from all regions and income brackets of 1,036 British holidaymakers who took a minimum 7-day summer holiday in 2015. They reveal their booking trends and holidaying habits and here we summarise the highlights.
