“Mozambique is a very immature market and we are finding most players are big players. Tere is not the volume of players in Nampula they are hard big players with lower margins. Most players are of Indian, Pakistani or Chinese origin and we don’t have many locals playing and only a handful of tourists. “To run a casino here you have to place it in
the right place and educate the locals. Maybe put in older reel type slot machines play with cash not cards.” Taxes are high in Mozambique. Casinos pay 25
percent on their gross gaming revenue per month with strict rules on collections. Tere is no income tax however.
