Lights, Camera, Action... BFS Performance of Aladdin

At BFS we truly believe that everyone has a talent. During the last week of the Spring term our youngsters stunned packed audiences displaying their collective talents as they sang, danced and acted their way into our hearts.

In a world where technology changes at lightning speed, we cannot teach children enough knowledge for their life in adulthood: what we can teach them is how to work with others, solve problems, be responsible for themselves and others, cope with change, be aspirational and above all be proud of who they are and what they can achieve.

They have been preparing this ‘Aladdin’ for many months under the guidance of our fabulous staff and so many of these characteristics have been developed during this time. The confi dence that each learner has developed during the

preparation for this show has been immense. Being part of this production gave the children a unique opportunity and experiences that we just cannot offer during school hours.

We are so grateful to the staff team for their vision. Together they have led the children on a journey of

growth, where they have learnt to work together; be resilient when they forget the words or dance steps and even learn to laugh at themselves when they make funny mistakes. These are invaluable skills for life and every bit as important as that which take place in the classroom. The hours of preparation, rehearsals and visits to Fabric Land came together in a glorious swirl that would rival the West End!

We thank our parents, for everything they do to support our school; providing costumes, learning lines and songs, being an incredible audience and so much more beyond!

We warmly encourage prospective parents to visit our schools to experience the opportunities that are available for your child.
