Churches Together in Broadstone

Churches Together in Broadstone invites you to come along to any of the services or events we hold. You can be assured of a friendly welcome at any time.

Dear Friends and Neighbours

On behalf of the Churches in Broadstone we pray that you have had a blessed Easter and wonderful break over the Bank Holidays.

There is a real sense of summer warmth in the air – the leaves on the trees are beginning to unfurl, the Broadstone front gardens are a riot of colour and generally there is an anticipation of the summer months to come.

We are blessed indeed to live in what the newspapers have nominated ‘the third most desirable village in Britain.’ Blessed indeed!

But as I go about my ministry, I am aware that many folk experience the same challenges and diffi culties as folk in any other part of the country. I encounter those affected by loneliness, illness, relationship breakdown, isolation and bereavement.

It is during these diffi cult times, when it helps to remember that we do not face these diffi culties alone. God is with us and His son Jesus is there to help share our burdens and lighten our load.

Why don’t you drop into one of Broadstone’s churches in May – you will undoubtedly fi nd a warm welcome and a listening ear; plus, there’s always a cup of tea brewing somewhere. Our churches offer a wide range of worship services and gatherings – so there’s something to suit everyone. Find out what’s going on at the various churches by looking on our websites or picking up a copy of the weekly news notes from the churches.

And so from Churches Together in Broadstone, we pray God’s blessings upon you all.
