By the time this article is published, Broadstone Community Speed Watch’s special event will have been held on 29th April. So firstly, thank you to all those Broadstone residents who attended to meet your Community Speed Watch team, your Neighbourhood Policing Team, Dorset Police Community Speed Watch Unit and many others who supported this event.


Some of you may be wondering why you have not seen your Community Speed Watch team in action over recent months. The reason is that since January this year, Broadstone Community Speed Watch has faced one or two challenges.


Broadstone Community Speed Watch is now an independent Watch in its own right, and will be responsible for recruiting more volunteers and raising the funds required to support its activities.
