THE WIRRAL GOLF CLASSIC presents a fantastic opportunity


Liverpool’s Open Championship


and three other fine courses, during a week of competitive but fun golf for men and women. The 2017 event will be staged between


the 18th and 22nd of September, offering four rounds of golf during the five day period. Play can be with friends, in men’s,


women’s or mixed pairings, with prizes for each day as well as the aggregate. In addition to a game at Hoylake,


golfers also play Wallasey, home of Frank Stableford and his eponymous scoring system. A former Open Qualifying venue, this superb course enjoys beautiful views across the Mersey to Liverpool. Heswall Golf Club, a few miles further


along the coast from Hoylake, was chosen by The R&A as their venue for the Junior Open Championship in 2006. It delivers a fair test as well as a wonderful location with views across to Wales. Caldy,
