This class is for those that want a well-mannered puppy. We will work on walking nicely on a leash, sit, down, stand, come, attention, stay, mouthiness, off, and greeting people nicely. Puppies must be people and dog-friendly and must be under 18 weeks of age. The first class is an orientation, so come with- out your puppy and bring a copy of your pup’s vaccination record.

Adult acrylic painting will focus on color theory, usable paint skills and the basics of painting from life. In this 4-week course, artists will explore light and shade using various color palettes and paint still-life objects. This is a cooperative program with the Westmont Park District.

You’ve seen them on Pinterest – pallet signs are the perfect gift for a friend or a great statement piece for your home. Enjoy an afternoon of painting your very own custom 17 ½” x 17 ½” handmade pallet sign. You pick your design between a monogram with an established year or any quote up to 8 words. This is a cooperative program with the Clarendon Hills and Westmont Park Districts.

Essentials of Estate Planning Westmont Community Center • 75 E. Richmond St., Westmont
Essentials of estate planning covers the estate planning process from be- ginning to end. We will look closely at the need to plan, the most common planning techniques, and the documents used in the planning process. The class will explain the difference between a will and a trust, and will give attendees an understanding of probate, wills, power of attorney for financial matters, power of attorney for healthcare, living trusts, and guardianship appointments.
