Babysitting Skills For Success Woodridge Community Center • 2600 Center Drive, Woodridge


Learn the characteristics of successful babysitting while taking part in dis- cussion and role-playing activities. This class will cover skills such as how to properly handle accidents and emergencies while providing basic first aid care, child development, diapering, feeding and playing with children. CPR is covered although students will not be certified. Student handbook and reference materials are included. Students receive a certificate after completing the 8-hour class.

A practice test is crucial to ward off those test day jitters and predict how you may score on the real thing. Experience first-hand what test day is like. A representative from Sylvan will provide a proctored ACT practice test and students will be contacted with their scores and analyzed results.

Get your friends together and meet up at Lisle Park District’s Sea Lion Aquat- ic Park. We are shutting the doors to the public and keeping it open late just for you! Our DJ will be playing all of your favorite songs while you swim or hang out poolside with all of your friends. There may even be a contest or two thrown in just for good measure.

PARK DISTRICT


LET YOUR BAND BE HEARD. Compete against other local bands for the chance to advance to a regional battle. Winner of the regional battle will play in the state finals at the State Fair in Springfield, IL. Bands must submit a demo of at least one song or a link to a website that features a song from your band.


Free to participate.
