SAFETY PROGRAMS Safe Kids

This interactive class focuses on thinking safely and making safe choices. Learn simple rules that kids can use in many situations. Kids learn what to do in an emergency, when to call 911 and how to deal with strangers. Bicycle, skateboard and in-line skating safety, playground rules, water safety, and more are covered. Each child receives a certificate of comple- tion. This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.

Safety and first aid go hand-in-hand. Children learn simple rules to think safely and make safe choices at home and away. We also present basic first aid information, including treatment of small cuts, bumps, bruises, nosebleeds, minor burns, and more. Each child receives a safety packet and creates a small first aid kit to take home. This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.

Kids Jr. classes are a dance ‘n’ play for lil’ feet where pint-sized party animals get silly, dream big and begin their journey to a healthy future. This program is designed to let kids let loose and be themselves; little bundles of energy that are endlessly curious about new sounds and experiences! Here they can socialize, move to age appropriate music and play games with other kids. This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.
ULTIMATE PARTY PROGRAMS
Dazzling Make-up Techniques Woodridge Community Center • 2600 Center Drive, Woodridge
Girls will learn basic skin care and make-up techniques. Natural and party looks will be featured. Each girl will receive special cosmetic items to take home. Sign-up with a friend for twice the fun! This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.

Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with physical activity that’s non-competitive. Children will learn yoga poses through activities and these poses will enhance flexibilty, strength, co- ordination and body awareness. It also promotes positive communica- tion, respect, and reduces stress. This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.
Accessorize Your Summer Fun Woodridge Community Center • 2600 Center Drive, Woodridge
Participants will have a great time designing their own beach bag, sun visor, as well as creating amazing summer jewelry. Each girl will also receive a summer based nail application. This is a cooperative program with the Wo- odridge Park District.

Glitzy Girlz - Summer Pajama Spa Night Woodridge Community Center • 2600 Center Drive, Woodridge
Come join Glitzy Girlz in your favorite PJs and get pampered! Our great staff will lead four stations including facials and charm anklet making. Learn how to do a manicure and pedicure and get your nails and toes polished with a special design or use stickers. A foot nail brush is used and yours to keep, as well as a spa keepsake goodie bag. This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.
