BANANA, ALMOND BUTTER AND CINNAMON ON TOASTED SOURDOUGH This amazingly simple breakfast tastes like a feast in one dish. If mum’s not a fan of almond butter, choose another nut butter instead. The combination of fl avours is to die for, and creates a healthy but indulgent breakfast that she’ll love!
1 Toast the sourdough (or other bread) and while you’re waiting, assemble the other ingredients.
2 Slice the banana and set aside.
SERVES 1
3 Spread a nice, thick layer of nut butter onto each slice of toasted sourdough.
4 Place the banana over each slice of toast so they’re completely covered. 5 Drizzle maple syrup over each slice.
2 slices of fresh sourdough or other bread of your choice 1 large banana 1 tbsp maple syrup Half to 1 tsp cinnamon Almond butter (or nut butter of your choice)

6 Sprinkle a fi ne dusting of cinnamon over both slices so they are completely covered. 7 Eat and enjoy.
TIP: This dish can easily be made gluten- free by swapping the sourdough for a gluten-free bread of your choice.
