ilk is a staple part of our diets here in the UK: a 2015 survey showed that only 6% of adults reported not using milk in their household in
the previous three months. It provides 19% of the calcium intake of adults in the UK, and milk, yoghurt, cheese and other dairy products are incredibly versatile when it comes to cooking. Calcium plays a vital role in our diets,
from when we’re infants right up to our twilight years. We’ve seen lots of negative press about dairy in recent years, from the low prices paid to some farmers to the supposed health risks of full fat milk and the number of people that now choose to avoid dairy in their diets – but we’re here to ring dairy’s praises.
