TEAM FOCUS – Broadstone Girls


Every month, we focus on a different group and showcase them...


Broadstone U12s Girls Squad: Indy/ Keira/Connie/Lilly/ Amie/Lydia/Holly/ Hermione/Natalie/ Sophie/Violet/Ellie.


Starting the season with only six girls, we have gradually


recruited a few more throughout the season and are now 6th in the table, with a semi-fi nal lined up! The girls have done really well so far.

our league season. We got to the cup fi nal last year and, in each of our previous three seasons running as a team, the girls have managed to fi nish up with medals, so no pressure!


Girls' football has well and truly arrived not just in Broadstone, but everywhere and we love it!


Most importantly the girls have a fantastic team spirit, get on well, and play good football. They play for each other and that really comes through on the pitch. With great support from all the parents (and big thanks to the help collecting match subs, putting up nets and running the line!), the girls team at Broadstone is thriving.
