Come and join us

The Broadstone Chamber of Trade & Commerce hosts three networking events each month for local businesses:

• 1st Wednesday of each month, breakfast at Molly’s from 8-9am.

• 3rd Wednesday of each month, midweek motivational session at The Cargo Lounge from 5.30pm.

• 3rd Friday of each month, social drinks at the Goods Yard from 6pm onwards.

The aim of these meetings is simple; to meet like- minded people and business owners who live or work in and around Broadstone, who want to work out ways to raise the profi les of our businesses, schools and village in general.

These meetings are designed to create opportunities for businesses of all sizes to build long-lasting relationships in an informal setting. If you would like to receive an invite to these events, please email lynsey.phillips@sjpp.co.uk to be added to the distribution list.

Don’t assume that the business next door has seen this. Please talk to them about these meetings and invite them along. Everyone is welcome.

News in and around the Village The regeneration of Broadstone High Street is progressing well, however, our High Street doesn’t end at the roundabout. We have a variety of shops on Dunyeats Road, Station Approach and Moor Road so please support our local businesses.

Interested in the environment? The Poole Enviroteers are looking for environmentally minded people to get involved in all things green!

I was delighted to present a cheque for £308 to the Broadstone Brownies in January on behalf of the BCTC. This was from money collected on the Christmas Parade day. Thank you to everyone who donated.

4 March: The Big Branksome Clean Up – This community-led litter pick focuses on the Branksome Rec area and beyond. Starting at 10am, everyone can get involved and make a difference where they live.

22 April: The Great Dorset Beach Clean – back again at Holes Bay, this increasingly popular litter pick starts at 10.30am and looks after one of our precious coastlines. Everyone is welcome.
