Broadstone In Bloom


Broadstone in Bloom has started work regularly again as everything starts to grow.


We will be tidying up, pruning and replanting as usual most Wednesdays. For those who don’t know, we are a small voluntary group who look after the fl owerbeds along the Broadway and organise the supply of baskets and tubs for the summer to businesses in Broadstone. If you are interested in helping in any way, come along and talk to us on Wednesday mornings, you don’t need to be an expert – as long as you can wield a trowel and secateurs you will be very welcome.


We will be holding our annual open meeting in the Library at 7pm (use side door) on 31st March followed by a litter pick on 1st April meeting in the Junction car park at 9.30am. Gloves, litter picks, bags, etc, are supplied.


Our plant sales which take place in front of Lloyds Bank, will be on 8th April, 6th May, and 10th June beginning at 9am. We will be selling nursery grown shrubs and perennials, some pot grown bulbs, tomato plants, etc. These help a lot with fundraising for planting, so please come along and support us.
