Andrew Cheung


Harrison Healthcare, Belfast An energetic, strong leader, who thrives on challenges, Andrew is the clinical pharmacist in harrison healthcare, which is situated at the centre of Belfast’s chinatown. he has strong communication skills and speaks fluent English, mandarin and cantonese; all of which help to ensure that his customers are always well counselled. Andrew’s open and friendly manner makes him popular with both staff, who find him a true asset to their development, and the locals, for whom he is a favourite!


Leann Connolly


Bradley’s Pharmacy, Derry/Londonderry having worked in England for some time, leann moved back to Northern Ireland in 2014 and has worked in derry/londonderry since then. leann is heavily involved with work in the local community and works to instil public confidence in pharmacy. She has already completed several BcPP projects with a range of groups within the local community, including the hAPI programme at the Women’s centre, and has given talks to groups such as the men’s Shed on bowel cancer awareness and pharmacy services.


Madeeha Malak


Randalstown Pharmacies Ltd, Randalstown madeeha is very passionate about pharmacy and particularly about the impact the pharmacy healthcare team can have on the health and wellbeing of the community that it serves. She is very capable, forward thinking, and not afraid to speak her mind and break from the crowd. madeeha currently works as the senior pharmacist within the main Street branch, where her dedication and ability have allowed her to take on a challenging role that would usually be occupied by a more experienced pharmacist.


Michelle Laverty


Burns Pharmacy, Holywood one of michelle's strongest skills is her ability to pick up things quickly and this has proved to be a great asset to the business. When the new EPoS tills were installed, for example, michelle was able to both facilitate the integration of the system smoothly and to train staff on its use. She has since trained new staff on use of the dispensary computer and implemented training protocols related to pharmacy. on her own initiative she reorganised the fama dispensary drawers, which she did after business hours.
