Finalists ENTERPRISE WITHIN PHARMACY Judith Morrison

Andersons Pharmacy, Portadown having established a weekly cardiovascular clinic in partnership with a local gP practice, Judith realised that, in numerous cases of new onset of raised BP, a referral to the practice nurse was needed in order to have baseline bloods organised. In September 2015, she attended the 3fivetwo training academy to train as a phlebotomist. Now fully accredited, Judith is able to provide a one-stop appointment for patients to have a cardiovascular review, with screening bloods carried out where necessary. this has been a great benefit to both the practice and the patients.
