PHARMACY TEAM MEMBER OF THE YEAR


Kerry Thompson


Boots UK, Market Square, Dungannon Kerry is a pharmacy advisor and has been working at Boots in dungannon for over ten years. She is responsible for all elements of the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and healthcare areas and also took the lead for landing a company initiative - ‘Web script’ - which she knew would improve the efficiency of the repeat dispensing service. Kerry undertook the training herself and then worked to train the rest of the team.


Lorna Brady


Bessbrook Pharmacy, Bessbrook Pharmacy technician lorna has worked for the company for 24 years. her current position means her main role is in the dispensary- dispensing prescriptions, organising and assembling medidose packs – and acting as smoking cessation advisor. Working in a very close knit community can be challenging at times, but lorna is able to maintain a professionalism through all customer interactions, such as directing patients to new services like mURs.


Margaret O’Connor


LloydsPharmacy, Head office, Derry/Londonderry margaret became a mobile dispenser for the company in may 2009. this position was established to provide dispensary help during periods of sickness, absence or holidays across the NI lloyds pharmacy estate and so margaret travels across all fourteen branches - from Enniskillen to Ballymena. It quickly became clear that margaret was exceptional at managing workload, sharing best practice, landing new initiatives, and bringing lloydsPharmacy’s IcARE values to life and, as a result, her role has greatly developed.


Stephanie Moffett


Randalstown Pharmacies Ltd, Randalstown having joined the company in 2009 as an administrative assistance, Stephanie was soon to prove that her talents lay in retail! Now retail manager for both Randalstown stores, Stephanie’s role involves merchandising, customer service and buying. She is also responsible for setting internal targets and organising team bonding/socialising events. Stephanie’s remit also includes the annual diary in terms of monthly promotions and health awareness dates such as No Smoking day and Bowel cancer Awareness Week.
