Although Christmas now seems like a distant memory, it would be rude not to reflect. It was lovely to have time off work and spend it with the family. We had the pleasure of my son and girlfriend who stayed with us for a few days which resulted in playing silly games, giving us lots of laughs and overindulgence in every sense of the word!! I think most of us were pleased to see the back of
2016 with the amount of celebrities passing away and I’ve found myself asking the question “Is this just a sign of us all getting older?” Either way let's hope 2017 brings us all health, wealth and prosperity.
So far this winter seems to have been particularly colder than normal or is it just that after such hot summers we forget how cold it can get. One thing we don’t forget is how hot the summer can get, and as the weeks / months / years seem to pass so quickly here, we can rest assured knowing that the cold won't last much longer, and before we know it we will be complaining about the soaring temperatures again.
