With Christmas and New Year a distant memory and

the winter

months ahead of us, it is time to start thinking about how to fill the chillier days ahead, and a hobby is a great way to fill them. Why not try your hand at decorative art, a great way to create your own gifts for family and friends.

I teach the ‘One Stroke”

painting

technique, I am the only certified teacher of this technique on the Costa Blanca. It is great fun to learn and much quicker than other traditional art techniques.

Developed in the USA by the artist Donna Dewberry, it is a technique designed for decorative art for the home and garden, and although you can paint beautiful paintings on canvas, it is so very versatile as you can paint on just about anything with this style of painting.

I like to keep the classes small with a maximum of six to eight people to enable me to give everyone the help and attention they need to master this technique. Each week we paint a project which makes learning much more interesting and fun to do, and at the end of the class the project is yours to keep. Everything needed for the class and the project, is included in the cost of the class.

The classes are Friday mornings (beginners) 10am to 12 noon and Saturday mornings (beginners) from 10am to 12 noon. I do have a Friday afternoon class but at present this is for more advanced students. On occasion I have had to move a beginner into this class as some people learn quicker than others.

If you would like to know more about this technique or would like to come along to the classes and try your hand at One Stroke painting, please give me a call on 96 572 5919.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Eileen Wallace.
