Proud to be part of the Milton Keynes success story

PROVIDING an environment in which businesses have been able to thrive, Milton Keynes has seen many success stories, of which Freeths is one.

Opening its doors in 1986 as a

four-man legal practice known then as Kimbells, the firm has become an established force in the town’s professional community.

Its merger with national practice

Freeth Cartwright in 2011, has seen the firm become part of an 11-office firm offering national coverage under the Freeths banner. Jonathan Hambleton, managing

partner at the Milton Keynes office, says: “Being part of a larger group has provided many benefits to our clients. Not only can we offer much greater resource, should it be needed, but we can also provide specialist expertise in many additional areas of the law,

“We remain loyal to our Milton

Keynes roots while offering nationwide support to clients.”

including planning, tax, construction and pensions, for example. “While offering nationwide support to clients, we remain loyal to our Milton Keynes roots and still work extensively with many local businesses.” Freeths moved to newly developed offices in Knowlhill in 2015, providing dedicated space with room for expansion and a sign of the firm’s commitment to a long-term presence in the town. Freeths values being part of the

Milton Keynes community so, as well as working with many of the familiar names locally as clients, the firm has aimed to make its own contribution. It has supported local charities such as Willen Hospice and Medical Detection Dogs with fund-raising. Freeths staff have helped local schools with the Right to Read scheme. The firm also gives students looking to qualify for a career in law a helping hand through a legal scholarship scheme. Freeths has also sponsored the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards since they began in 2014. “Milton Keynes has provided an

environment in which we, as a business, have been able to thrive,” says Jonathan. “We are proud to be part of the success of the town and look forward to featuring in its continued growth.”
