NOTHING BUT
ROUNDABOUTS THEY SAID
50 YEARS TO CREATE A TOURIST DESTINATION
On behalf of the team, board and members of Destination Milton Keynes, I wish our fair city the happiest of birthdays.
Of course, wishing happy birthday to a place might appear a strange thing to do; but when that place has spent 50 years developing a soul, a pulse and a passion amongst those who live and work within its boundaries; it seems much more like the right thing to say. In 50 years, Milton Keynes has grown from a small collection of market towns, to one of the UK’s leading economic powerhouses, most attractive places to live and work, and a top tourist destination.
