QUEEN & PRINCESSES 12.30pm - Arena, Sandpit Field Join us for the crowning of the new Swanage Carnival Queen, Maria- Chelsea Smith, Senior Princess, Bethany MacDonald and Junior Princess, Madeline Matthews by last year’s retiring court, Drew Hamilton, Charlie Cole and Kelsey Wellman. This is the retiring Court’s last official engagement before they step down.

MUSIC IN THE MARQUEE SWANAGE JAZZ MACHINE 12.30pm to 1.15pm – Sandpit Field Count down to our fantastic Carnival Procession with a drink and some great tunes, as the Swanage Jazz Machine provides a relaxing afternoon for all the family with music from ‘The Great American Songbook’, ‘mainstream’ Jazz, Ballads and Easy Listening,. BOURNEMOUTH CARNIVAL BAND 1.15pm to 1.45pm - Arena, Sandpit Field This group will have you participating in all sorts of mad things; it is one of the craziest bands around so watch out! Full details page 12

Always crowd pleasers, we welcome back the fantastic Christchurch Cruiser Club and the UK Beach Buggy Club. Look out for Jim & Friends and their wonderful Vintage Cars & Fire Engine! The clubs will drive their colourful and amazing machines along the Carnival route, starting from Beach Gardens, ahead of the main procession.
CARNIVAL PROCESSION 3.00pm prompt - starting from De Moulham Road – check the map for the complete route! The incredible Swanage Carnival Procession 2016 begins its journey. To help plan your viewing of the Procession, signs have been placed along the route showing the approximate time of arrival at certain points.

The band’s repertoire of impeccably delivered Rock, pop, soul, disco, funk, Klezmer, Motown and RnB is guaranteed to have you dancing the night away.
