Formed in 2013, they are dedicated to bringing the finest Neo-Rockabilly, Voodoo Beats and Surf music to the unsuspecting masses. Armed with a bag full of classic cuts from the ’50s and a healthy dose of rockin’ original material they’ve been filling dance- floors wherever they play. The band normally has dancers on stage to put you in the groove… so let the rhythm take you over, and get dancing!

The Ratpack is a nine piece jazz/ swing band based in Bournemouth recreating the music made famous by the legendary Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin. The band not only plays the classic songs immortalised by the legendary crooners, but include many more from artists of that timeless era such as Tony Bennett and Andy Williams. Tonight, this exciting band will have you dancing the night away to the sounds of that fabulous era.


SWANAGE LINEDANCERS Saturday 6th August, 2.00pm to 3.30pm - Seafront


Back again this year to entertain and introduce you to some new dance routines set to wonderful Country and Western music. Come along and enjoy a fun filled session of line dancing, music and maybe some disorganised dodgem style formation dancing on the seafront! Started by the late Lorna Albin many years ago, the dancers reformed as a light hearted dancing, social group co-ordinated by Pete, still held at the Conservative Club most Thursdays.


Always a great atmosphere and a lot of fun, come along and join in and dance to Little Wagon Wheel, Native America and Bar Room Romeo Routines. Feel that foot tapping? – Just let your hair down and enjoy yourselves!

BANQUET OF SOUND Saturday 6th August, 8.00pm to 8.45pm


On a stretch of beach between two piers, Banquet of Sound emerged into the Autumn sunlight of 2015. Combing the sand, they gathered the flotsam of late night jam sessions, festival antics and first loves to concoct a beautiful blend of rum- soaked blues, hand-sewn folk and crunchy jazz. Founded on the songs of lead vocalist and guitarist, Laura Goucher, the quartet have been wowing audiences with their preliminary outings which included supporting both ‘Wille and the Bandits’ and ‘Will and the People’.


This is set to be an exciting year for the band with a debut album in the making and a run of festivals in and around Dorset and beyond. Make a date…this is not one to be

THE BOURNEMOUTH RATPACK RAT RACE


Rat Race is a nine-piece Dorset- based Ska band that has been entertaining audiences all over the country playing Jamaican Two- Tone and original tunes. With a comprehensive set list featuring all the highlights from the history of Ska and Two-Tone from Desmond Dekker to The Specials, Rat Race will be performing both before and after the fireworks. Watch out for a special guest appearance from Ratty Rat himself. Pork Pie hats and Two-Tone suits are the order of the night and make sure you’ve polished up your ‘Skank’ moves!
