Monday 1st August Registration 6.00pm for 6.30pm start The Stone Quay

The bay swim is one of Carnival’s most popular and competitive events. With competitors aged from 11 years old to the masters of the sea, and abilities ranging from swimmers that just want to finish to national standard, it really is an event for everyone and anyone. So if you just want a bit of fun, a workout or for those who want a serious race against other competitors, the tide and waves - join us at the stone quay! Spectators can enjoy both serious competition and the fun and havoc of the races, with superb views of the swimmers between the parade, Mowlem and stone quay. Entrants must be able to swim a minimum of 100 metres or the distance of the event they are registering for. Prizes in the form of cups and medals will be awarded after each event. Entry Forms available from the Stone Quay at 6.00pm. One Race Entry per Person. Our thanks go to the Local Lifeguards, and the local R.N.L.I. inshore lifeboat crew for providing safety cover for this event.
