Page 6 Kids Enjoy A Harley Christmas

Thanks to the success of the Free Spirits Harley Davidson Enthusiasts Club 2017 Charity Biker Babe Calendar, two local children’s charities celebrated Christmas with a little less stress on their purse strings. All 600 of the calendars sold with a total revenue generated of 6,040€, shared equally between Make A Smile and the Gandia Preventorio Children’s Home.

The calendar was also unique in that it entered those who purchased a calendar into a free Christmas draw and with a total of over 600€ worth of prizes on offer. The draw to find the winners took place on Friday 9th December and the details of the winners are as follows:

1st prize – ticket number 0385 Geordie and Amanda Gee 2nd prize – ticket number 0383 Tanya Farrow 3rd prize – ticket number 0617 Dudley and Carol Davies 4th prize – ticket number 0635 Javier Vidal

Peter Emmett, outgoing President of Free Spirits HD biker group would like to both congratulate the winners but also express sincere thanks to sponsors who covered the total cost of producing the calendar and of course those members of the public who purchased one.

The top photo shows two cheques in the shape of Harley motorbikes being presented following the draw to from left to right: Linda Garwood, Select Villas (sponsor), Lucy Grande (Make A Smile), Peter Emmett (Free Spirits), Silvia Barnish (Gandia Preventorio), Jan Edmondson and Gemma Broad, Telitec (sponsors).

The bottom photo shows the Free Spirits group members and friends assembled recently for their Christmas party on the terrace of Restaurant La Cumbre, where everyone celebrated the first and very successful year of the newly formed biker group.
