A happy and healthy New Year to all as the Stage Diary enters its tenth year supporting amdram on the Costas. Not only is it an important guide to what’s on in all regions, but is also an on-line web introduction to potential expat’s researching community life in Spain. The diary also acts as a planning guide to assist groups avoid unnecessary clashes of production dates.
Cantabile Ladies Choir:
Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir: After a very busy and successful Christmas season with carol concerts in Teulada, Denia, Javea and Benitachell, the choir is now taking a well-earned rest and will be preparing
for their next concert in May at the Teulada Auditori with the prestigious Pontarddulais Male Choir. Other dates will be announced soon.
Footlights: The group have had a year of change and adjustments under their belts and are now looking forward to what 2017 brings. If anyone is interested in

A successful debut concert by new M.D. Valerie Beange, was held at La Siesta Church in aid of church funds. Caprice: Singing group Caprice has gone all-female! Singing a mixture of Gershwin, madrigals and musical theatre (including Gilbert & Sullivan) in three part harmony, Caprice are forging ahead towards their first concert next March. Careline Theatre: ‘Pinocchio’ directed by Dorothy Fish, will be staged from 19th to 22nd January at 8pm with matinées on the 21st and 22nd.
GASP: Their ‘Evening of Entertainment’ at the end of November was well received, with plenty of audience participation during the "Victorian Melodramas". Lots of hissing the villains! They are resting for a couple of months, but watch this column for information on the

Jávea Players: Bob Larbey's amusing comedy about the wars fought on the beaches of Britain between the 'haves' and the 'have- nots', ‘Sand Castles’ will be directed by Roger Brown, and plays at their Studio Theatre from Monday 27th March to Saturday 1st April.
