So much for a peaceful Christmas and a couple of days off. Darling daughter (DD) has been exceptionally busy at work, which is great, but means that darling granddaughter has been spending lots of time with us. 'That's great', I hear all the grandparents saying - it would be if they didn't
live with us full time. 'How lucky you are', I hear you say again - well you try it!
We do love them to pieces but the flags were flying when DD announced she had found an apartment to move into. As we are both strong, independent women we do prefer our own space so she put the flags out too. As I write this we are looking after little one whilst painting and preparing of said apartment is in full swing, around all of us working full time jobs and darling granddaughter sneezing and spluttering all over us. If I have to sit through another viewing of 'Frozen' I will not be accountable for my actions.
2017 is starting with a lot of changes for us and I think things will continue to change as we see Brexit through - but I look at the news in the morning and still am glad to be living here.
All that is left to say is a happy, healthy and prosperous 2017 to all our advertisers, readers and contributors from everyone at Female Focus Publications.
