Yeah. She’s on the top of my list to talk to as far as doing an interview. I mean, Little Feat enjoyed a long run with her as the lead vocalist and put out some fantastic albums. I was a Little Feat fan from the 70s on up, you know? So it was kind of cool when she got in there, too. Right, right. I think she told me she was with them, I believe it was 15 or 16 years.

Yeah, they cut several albums, and I loved the one called Let It Roll. I whip that thing out every once in a while and play it, just all good stuff, but the… I can’t read my own writing, EG, I’m sorry. I just scribble. Well, that’s all right. At least I’m not having to read or my glasses would be on.

So it’s true you did some shows with BB King, too, right? Yeah. I guess it was back in ’11 or ’12, I worked two shows with him. We were at the Fox in At- lanta and then at the Macon City Auditorium. And that was… I was so honored to get to work with him, I mean, I would just look at him. He’d already gotten feeble and he would sit there but I would just be in awe and I’d think, “There… is BB King! That is the real BB King!” And I was just touched.

He was quite a legend man.,You know, it’s funny, we were just talking about Little Feat and I saw a show in Char- lotte, BB King headlined and Little Feat opened. Shawn was singing at that point. BB had not gotten feeble yet, he was still great, this was back in 1992, I think. Oh, goodness! He was probably really, really good then.

Yeah, he was just tearing it up and I thought, “This show is never going to end!” (Laughs) Because Little Feat

around. (Laughs) You did some record- ing with Paul Hornsby, right? Oh, Lord! I’ve worked with Paul Hornsby since the mid-80s. I did one of my country al- bums with him in about ’85 or ’86 and he’s kind of my “go to” person when I want to record. I’ve done my last few albums, blues al- bums, with him, we’ve co-written together, we’ve produced another artist together. He is just one of my dearest friends.

Yeah, I think the world of him. I was just talking to him about doing my “comeback album.” I haven’t recorded anything since 2005. It’s been a long

played for an hour but he got up there and played for three hours.(Laughs) Ohhhhh! Did he take a break?!

No! Uh uh. No. Just kept going. Good gracious!

Like Springsteen or something, you know? But without all the jumping
