No matter how well as spa is looked after by its owner, general wear and tear over time will inevitably lead to the need for repairs to keep it running like clockwork.
Internet-led, the spa spares and repairs trade offers a much welcome source of sales to the hot tub market. A growing sector, many specialist companies are maximising the potential of both sourcing and supplying spa parts, as well as to service, maintain and upgrade.
“The busy season has certainly started well for us and we have seen more than a 15 per cent growth in the last two months compared to the same period last year,” reveals Rosie Cook of Hydrospares.
“The parcels are certainly fl ying out the door at a steady rate.
We now have two courier collections per day and most parcels go out on a next day service. Year on year we are continuing to see good growth, which is certainly reassuring and hopefully this will continue for years to come.”
A leading supplier of spare parts to the trade, Hydrospares deal with spa engineers and pool companies, as well as a few domestic customers. The company buys direct from most of the big manufactures, including Balboa, Waterways and LX to offer a growing portfolio of products.
“Running a busy parts warehouse can be challenge, particularly trying to keep up with stock replenishment but in our line of business we recognise that having the stock is key to supporting our customers and this year we have made a conscious effort to increase our stock holding of key items.” She adds: “We are also expanding our range to include some
