2016 looks to be a boom year for UK hot tub and spa businesses. Increasing demand, improved customer awareness and a favourable economy mean the sector is expanding with new products and a greater than ever customer base. Jane Veysey, co-owner of leading retailer All Swim says the


fi rst six months of 2016 were the best six months since the business started trading 46 years ago.


Jane estimates her sales are 28% up on the same period last year: “If I knew why; I’d bottle it!”


She continues:” Hot tubs are really on trend at the moment.

They are almost becoming the norm for a lot of families. “People are more confi dent to spend money these days and are spending more time at home. “Also, customers that fi rst bought a tub from us 10-15 years ago, are returning to purchase a new model with all the extra features.”


Recent sales have also been boosted by the growth in swim spas. Swim spas used to account for 5% of All Swim’s tub sales; now the fi gure is closer to 18%. Jane explains: “We are seeing a big growth in dual temperature
