66 Open for nominations
The 2016 Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards launches this month – and is now open for entries. The leading multi-category awards scheme in the region has new categories and sponsors for what will be its 22nd successive year
With nominations closing on September 23, and the event itself booked for November 17 at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, Reading, now is the time to plan your participation in these prestigious awards.
Up to 350 guests will attend the gala dinner when special guest Gyles Brandreth will act as host and presenter.
A veteran of television and radio, renowned raconteur Brandreth is a former Conservative MP, and a former president of the Oxford Union. He has appeared on The One Show and Have I Got News For You, and is a former European Monopoly champion.
Business Person of the Year is a new category in this year’s Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards. Sponsored by Taylor Made Computer Solutions, the award will be presented to an individual who has excelled in their field in the past year, or made a significant impact in the region.
Another new category is an Innovation award, sponsored by Redwood Technologies. This award recognises the achievements of the Thames Valley’s most innovative businesses, whether technology, manufacturing, services or any sector.
A new sponsor in 2016 is ActionCOACH which is sponsoring the Management Team award.
