A growing team will offer better support

GBCC is expanding its group sales team following the launch last month of a refreshed membership package which reaffirms its aim to ‘Connect, Support and Grow’ local businesses. Group Membership director Mandy Canny

said: “As the region’s largest business support network, it is vital that we continually update and improve the services that we offer to member companies, which now total more than 2,600. As part of that development, we are committed to maintaining a strong business development and sales team of the highest quality.” The latest two new additions to the team are

business development managers Muhammed Ahmed and Jennifer Campbell, whose roles will be to further membership growth. Before joining the Chamber, Muhammed

worked as a senior recruitment consultant but he is also experienced as a financial services

mortgage adviser. For the last seven years, Jennifer has been a director of a talent management company, specialising in head- hunting “stars” in retail and marketing.

‘Being able to help enhance the Chamber’s reputation is a great opportunity’

“It’s an exciting time to be joining the Chamber and I’m looking forward to being part of its continued development,” said Jennifer, while Muhammed added: “Being able to help enhance the Chamber’s reputation is a great opportunity.” The refreshed membership package, which is

being delivered by an integrated membership team, has been welcomed by GBCC chief executive Paul Faulker as part of its ‘ambitious plans for growth.’
