The Hub The Hub What’s on at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce
A showcase of the best businesses
Entries are now being invited for the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards 2016. Greater Birmingham Chambers of
Commerce (GBCC) and Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce (SCC) have linked up to deliver the awards. With a growing reputation for showcasing
the best businesses in Staffordshire, the Chambers’ awards celebrate the achievements and outstanding performance of businesses across the whole of the county. Last year’s awards attracted an astounding
response, with more than 300 entries submitted and over 420 guests in attendance at the black tie awards ceremony at Staffordshire County Showground. Sara Williams, chief executive of
Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “The feedback that we received from our winners and highly commended businesses last year was simply overwhelming. In so many cases the chambers’ awards raised entrants’ profiles, won them new business and
boosted staff morale. If you’re in two minds whether to enter this year, don’t be. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.” Chamber director Chris Plant, said:
“Working at the Chamber, I am privileged to meet inspiring businesses who are finding innovative ways to grow, create jobs, and stimulate the economy. I get to hear truly inspirational stories from dynamic companies about how they are making a positive contribution to Staffordshire. The Staffordshire Business Awards celebrates these success stories, and provides an opportunity for our local businesses to showcase their achievements on a regional platform.” “We have exceptionally strong businesses
in Southern Staffordshire and we urge our members to get involved and put themselves forward for consideration.”
