Canadian Eastern University Infoor Series Tula sweeps the board By NICOLETTE BERTSCH


The University of Toronto men’s


and women’s teams swept away the competition this year at the third annual Canadian Eastern University Indoor Series.


In the men’s division, the


University of Toronto took home first place for the third year in a row. Competing in the Kingston and Waterloo tournaments, their two first place finishes over Carlton and Sherbrooke respectively, secured their first place finish over the 21 teams that had competed in the series.

On the women’s side, University


of Toronto also finished first. After battling a determined Guelph side in the semi-finals, the U of T women defeated Sherbrooke A in Waterloo. This, coupled with its Kingston tournament win over Queens, was enough to win their second indoor series championship.


The Waterloo tournament was also the first time that the women’s division had more teams competing


The University of Toronto men’s team has won the CEUIS three years in a row.
