Magnum productions in association with Studio in Gata are promoting a series of charity concerts this year for the benefit of the Alzheimer Association Familiares Teulada –
Moraira and Masonic charities. The first concert which is scheduled for Saturday the 13th February in Espai la Senieta, Moraira features the popular and very talented “Liverpool Band” who are assuredly the best Beatles tribute band in Spain, with tremendous vocal harmonies, authentic instruments
and a stage act to match the ‘Fab 4’ in their heyday. The last time the Liverpool Band performed in La Senieta tickets sold out within days so it is recommended to book early and with tickets priced at only 15 Euros what better treat for an early Valentine present. Calpe Archery Club ARCALP.
The club is based in the Calpe Municipal Field, located in Les Cometes almost opposite the Parque de la Cometa. It currently has 10 permanent targets and 6 more optional, located at distances between 12 and 90 meters outdoors. You can practise any form at any time of day as all the club members have access at any time of day 7 days a week. The installation is complete with an excellent clubhouse with water and electricity, services, warehouse, awnings to create shade that protects from the sun in the summer months, drinking fountain, and tables and chairs available for visitors who prefer to watch. In 2015 HELP of Denia and Marina Alta were able to offer a Diabetes Support service which includes one to one support given by Dorothy who has over 30 years of experience in diabetes, eight of those working as a Diabetes Nurse Specialist. Meetings were held throughout the year on topics related to diabetes and gave an opportunity to ask questions on anything related to diabetes. Whether you have diabetes, know someone with diabetes or want to know more about diabetes all are welcome to our meetings. In February 2016 we will be looking at ‘Diabetes Targets and what the numbers mean’. If you have any results please bring them along especially your HbA1c.

Fri 25 Mar - Good Friday 11am - Cristo Resucitado (Centro Ecumenico) (La Zenia) - Ecumenical ‘Stations of the Cross’. 3pm - Los Balcones - Celebration of the Passion of the Lord. Sat 26 Mar - Holy Saturday 7pm - Lago Jardin - The Easter Vigil (followed by Resurrection Party). Please note the time we begin this evening. This service lasts around 1½ hours. It is the most important service of the Church´s Year!
