This summer saw the release of X-Line’s new range of systems called the X-Tank. I had been badgering James Daykin (CEO of Xline Systems) and Andy Gofton (Sales & Marketing) for some time now over getting a sneak peek for you guys, but as always nothing goes to plan and everything that was needed to put the first ma- chine together landed last minute. James worked the late night shift with his team and from the mess of components and flurry of ac- tivity emerged a butterfly of a machine..... that was back in May.

Since the launch in early summer, X-Line have been pretty much flat out building and installing these new systems, they have certainly hit the market with a bang and can be now seen installed into commercial window cleaning vans in 7 countries throughout Europe.

X-Line was born as a company in 1979 where it began life as a window cleaning business and then

in 2002 the company moved into building afford- able systems (More on this in a later issue of WCM).

The company is driven on improvements and inno- vation spear headed by James, a self confessed workaholic who’s life is helped immensely by Andy. Andy is able to see the wood through the trees and offers that balance of perspective, something all busy business owners should immerse in from time to time.

The X-Tank it’s self is made of a medium density polyethylene and is made by way of rotation moulding due to the tanks complexity of recesses and slots. The only way this tank could be made.

James Daykin CEO of X-Line
