WCM: Why can you say most efficient in the world? Because no other DI filter on the planet offers the same bundle of efficiency-driven features.
WCM: Isn’t it difficult to claim efficiency since water tables change so drastically from street to street even? Yes, it is. Our purpose-built testing facility allows our specialists to simulate a vast range of water conditions in differing degrees of hardness (PPM), and provide guidance figures on the expected pure water output of our filters, also taking into consideration other factors affecting filter productivity such as its size, water pressure and
temperature. Of course, all of this is backed up by extensive field testing.
WCM: The unit forces water up rather than allowing gravity to take the water through the resin. What are the benefits? The unit was designed to maximise resin usage and eliminate dry or unused areas of resin, increasing the time required between changes.
WCM: This product is packed with new innovations, how come? Innovation is what we do and have done for the past 50 years.
WCM: Why is the resin stored in bags? Can you use any resin? Simple and hassle-free, QuickChange Resin bags allow users to speed up the resin change process by up to 10 times - simply remove the bag with expired resin and insert a new one.
The nLite® HydroPower DI Filters can also be filled with loose resin, retaining the high efficiency enabled by FloWater technology. If like many other users you prefer the loose resin option, you will find that the large diameter vessel enables you to fill, empty and refill the filter easier and faster. Whilst fully compatible with most ion exchange resins available on the market, for maximum efficiency we commend using Unger High Capacity Premium Grade Virgin Mixed Bed Resin due to its optimal density and moisture content.
Every filter comes complete with QuickChange Resin bags, so users can give them a go and decide which option they prefer.
WCM: There are three sizes. Can you buy the smallest and build up? The option of 3 filter sizes is offered to maximise your return on investment, depending on the volume of pure water required and frequency of
use. The filter vessel has to be pressure resistant and therefore must be professionally assembled, sealed, secured and tested by our engineers to ensure user safety and high performance.
