2015 North Florida Fair Preparations for the North Florida Fair are in full swing. The

fair opens on November 5 and runs through November 15. After four consecutive years of record attendance, we’re asking our- selves if it can be done one more time. We are certainly going to give it a shot. Entertainment scheduled for the upcoming fair include Moto Maniacs, hypnotist Richard Barker, Incredible T- Rex Dinosaur, Show-Me Safari Racing Pigs, and the Show-Me Safari petting zoo. All entertainment is free with admission to the fair. There are many other free attractions at the North Florida Fair that makes our fair the best entertainment val- ue in the area. We have a number of interactive science exhibits that we acquired when a local mu- seum went out of business. The Institute of Food and Agricultural Science (IFAS) will be on hand to teach people about all types of gardening and using the fair’s raised bed garden as a teaching tool.

Molly Moo, our life sized milk-able cow is always popular with

the kids, as is the butter making. Making random appearances are our 3 costumed barnyard animals, a cow, chicken, and pig. The 4H volunteers that wear the costumes really enjoy having their picture made with the customers. There is so much happening at the North Florida Fair. It really is fun and a great entertainment value. Stop by if you can!
