Abraham Rossiter, Daniel King, Jimmy Price, Joseph John King, Joseph King and William King were all sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court Gang jailed after violent assault
SIX men were jailed for a total of 35 years following a violent assault which involved knives, hammers, a knuckle duster and meat cleaver and left two people with fractured skulls. The gang, which included five
men from Ditton, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court in connec- tion with the brutal attack in Hook Lane, Hucking last November. The incident followed a disagree-
ment between one of the victims and 19-year-old Daniel King over where he had been keeping dogs and the noise they made. Relatives and associates of the teenager then descended on the scene and used variousweapons in- cluding knives, hammers and a knuckle duster to attack four mem- bers of the same family. The men struck multiple blows to the heads and bodies of their vic-
tims, twomenand two women.One of the victims suffered a fractured skull and several large cuts after he was repeatedly hit with a meat cleaver. Injuries to the other victims in- cluded a fractured skull, deep lacer- ations to the head which had to be stapled together, a stabwoundto an arm and heavy bruising. The offenders were all arrested
within days of the attack. Joseph King (20), of New Road, Ditton, ad- mitted one offence of wounding with intent and two of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He was jailed for 10 years and two months.

Road, Ditton admitted one offence of wounding with intent and one of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He was sentenced to nine years and eight months. Daniel King, of New Road, Dit-
ton, Jimmy Price (21), of Stockett Lane, Coxheath and Abraham Rossiter (30), of Medina Road, Dit- ton all pleaded guilty to violent dis- order andwere each sentenced to 22 months in jail.

tims who have suffered some ap- palling injuries at the hands of these men. They have since shown great courage in helping us ensure their attackers will pay for their crimes.”
