Paramount Sleep to Debut Updated Mattress Models at High Point Market

By Brooke S. Pisarsky Paramount Sleep will unveil updated mat- tress models in its A.H. Beard and Nature’s Spa collections at the Fall High Point Mar- ket, in addition to showcasing the recently debuted Hypnos line of luxury British bed- ding and HD Super Duty models. Paramount’s A.H. Beard line of luxury bedding brings high-quality craftsmanship from Down Under to the US. The brand’s updated Classic Collection continues to use the successful ad- vanced “Joey Coil” innerspring system with up to 977 coil-in-coil pocket springs. This incredibly responsive design allows the outer coils to re- duce motion transfer while the inner coils pro- vide deep-down support. All beds in the Clas- sic collection utilize 100% natural latex lumbar quilting as well as cooling gel foam and 100% natural New Zealand wool. Classic mattress- es are upholstered with layers of natural latex and cooling gel memory foam, wrapped in new stretch panel designs with classic border treat- ment and feature full outer compression tufting. Paramount’s newly refreshed Signature Col- lection will showcase an updated system fea- turing 900 eight-inch, foam-encased, zoned Combi Coils with the Q Spring in the center third. Quilted with a natural silk and wool blend, wrapped in luxury stretch knit panels with con- temporary border treatment and boasting full outer compression tufting, Signature mattress- es provide high-end sleep at an incredible value. Engineered for an ideal balance between comfort, support and pressure relief, Para- mount’s eco-friendly Nature’s Spa line adds two additional beds as well: the Hybrid Col- lection (featuring foam and latex) and Eco-Su- perior Collection (featuring all 100% latex). Both collections exhibit a fresh aesthetic with an all-white look trimmed in nature-inspired color accents. An inverted seam stitching de- sign eliminates the tape edge on the top of the mattress resulting in a simple, clean appear- ance. The Hybrid Collection is quilted in a silk/ wool blend while the Eco-Superior Collection features 100% New Zealand wool quilting.

Both mattresses are wrapped in organic cot- ton covers and borders. Paramount’s HD Super Duty line was re- cently updated with a new tagline: “Better Quality. Better Promise. The Best Choice.” The collection now features an exclusive design by Paramount Sleep, the new tri-zoned foam with gel memory and poly foam. This new system is comprised of three-pound gel memory foam to add pressure relief in the shoulder and knee areas, high density foam to increase support in the center third and exclusive foam-encased, 475-coil innerspring—the most durable spring unit in the industry. HD Super Duty mattresses are independently tested at 400 pounds, twice the industry standards, to ensure strength and reinforce a 20-year warranty. Lastly, Paramount is showcasing its joint venture with Hypnos, a century-old British bedding manufacturer. Paramount is the only licensee for Hypnos in the US and is the first to manufacture the company’s prod- ucts according to British standards. Formally introduced at the Spring High Point Market, this high-end line affords numerous luxury amenities such as the option to create a cus- tomized fabric headboard, a Leggett & Platt power foundation, and Zip and Link Service— the ultimate in custom comfort, allowing the splitting of a large bed into two single beds to permit each half to be specially tailored to the sleeper’s preference. Every bed boasts the exclusive Q Spring system, a series of pock- eted coils with nested center coils for added coil density in the middle third. “Our collections are going back to basics with simple selling stories to help train RSAs and ed- ucate consumers. We’ve learned that we need to make it as easy as possible for everyone to understand why consumers should buy,” ex- plained Richard Fleck, president of Paramount Sleep. “The new collections are supported by our [Dr. Maas] Sleep Doctor Recommended stamp and insights about how our mattresses solve the sleep issues that concern Dr. Maas.” Visit
