Protect-A-Bed Online University Expands Globally By Brooke S. Pisarsky Protect-A-Bed continues its commitment to effective and convenient training for its retail partners with the global expansion of the Pro- tect-A-Bed University program. Designed to supplement the company’s successful in-store training program, the Protect-A-Bed University e-learning and certification program provides customized websites for all of its retail partners. Each site includes interactive training modules to increase product knowledge, healthy sleep information and best-selling practices; session quizzes to measure learning and increase re- tention; and company-branded certificates of completion upon passing each module and quiz. Since launching Protect-A-Bed University in January 2015, Protect-A-Bed has been steadily adding to a robust library of interactive training modules tailored to retail customers. Given this phenomenal growth, the program

will now offer Spanish language modules as well as a Mandarin Chinese website. “Our customers need consistent and fre- quent product training across all of their retail locations,” said James Bell, CEO of Protect-A-Bed. “Protect-A-Bed Universi- ty offers immediate, cost-effective training support at the click of a button for new em- ployees as well as ongoing development for current sales professionals.”

According to Bell, interest from retail part- ners has fast-tracked the expansion. Nearly 4,000 sales professionals are active users and the rollout of the Mandarin training web- site will have 300 users in the first group. “The program provides interactive learning opportunities for retail sales associates be- tween their in-person training sessions,” Bell explained. “As Protect-A-Bed’s sales teams continue to grow, the need for easily acces- sible and consistent training has increased.”

“ Protect-A-Bed University offers immediate, cost- effective training support at the click of a button...”

Protect-A-Bed University is the brainchild of Jennifer Hillman, Vice President of Training and Development at Protect-A-Bed. “Cus- tomers have been asking us for years to offer training that will supplement our successful in- store training support,” she explained. “We’re pleased to offer this convenient option.” Visit and

We are proud to provide Enchante guests with our exceptionally comfortable handmade mat- tresses, made without harmful chemicals” Enchanté Boutique Hotel is a brand new

experience in luxury hospitality for Silicon Valley and the city of Los Altos. All of the pub- lic and guest accommodations are unique, touting a sophisticated, eclectic style that blends elements of a Parisian Inn with French art and memorabilia and modern comforts culminating in a distinctive guest experience.

Featuring 19 rooms, each with unique interior designs expressive of French culture, high- lighting French artwork and antiques, En- chanté offers a cozy retreat and an alterna- tive to chain hotels for the growing number of travelers coming to the Silicon Valley region. Cik developed Naturepedic in 2003 after realizing the mattress industry was missing an important market: there were none made with- out potentially harmful chemicals. Naturepedic mattresses are handcrafted using certified or- ganic materials and contain no flame retardant chemicals or chemical barriers. “In a luxury hotel you expect a luxury mat-

tress,” said Naturepedic Director of Sales Lisa Jilbert. “At Naturepedic we believe no one should compromise healthy, comfortable sleep at home or while traveling.” Visit
