It was another successful and fun-filled Temagami fishing trip. We caught 63 lakers and a few walleye. Special thanks to hosts John and Jenny at Loon Lodge. They sure know how to cook fish!

2. Joe from Pub Italia was finally able to get his Masaratti to Canada. It took more than a year of paperwork, but Joe’s adding it to his cool Italian bike (and car) collection.

3.

It was a fun day for the thousands who attended the annual Ferrari Festival. It was part of Italian Week, and spectators lined Preston Street to watch the Italian car parade.

4. Giuseppe Castrucci and I were honoured to be invited to the Golden Gears Sponsor Appreciation Night at the Iroquois Golf and Country Club. We were treated to a great meal and a presentation of the history of their organization. They’re a great bunch of people, and they made us feel welcome.

5 & 6. Bounder was able to attend several car shows this summer. The Kemptville Highway 43 Car Club’s show on Father’s Day and the Merrickville Car Show had decent weather this year. We sure have a bunch of unbelievable car enthusiasts who are really passionate about their vehicles. Make sure you check out some of these car show events next year. You’ll appreciate the hours of work the organizations go through to put them on.

It was 42 years ago when this shot was taken of Paul Scissons, Roger Dool and me as we prepared to ride to Toronto to register for college. We finally got to ride together again – 42 years later.

Paul Patterson’s annual Bob’s Lake Classic was a blast – especially since I was part of the winning team.

9. Once again we trekked up to Calabogie for the annual Calabogie Blues and Ribfest. The music was great, and we were blessed with terrific weather.

10. Kemptville Live was a hit! The first annual Kemptville Live weekend was a resounding success. Tom Cochrane and Red Rider, The Roadhammers and Murray McLaughlan were the headliners. Pictured here is Angel Forrest, a great Blues singer and one of my favourites.

11. Bounder’s new purchase, a portable stage, was the secondary stage at Kemptville Live. These are a couple of lads who were walking from Toronto to Halifax, and just showed up to play. There’s quite a story behind their trek. We hope to feature it in an upcoming issue.

12. You might have seen the new Bounder event truck out and about this summer. It’s a mint 1982, and it’s a blast to drive!

13. Bounder was proud to sponsor the annual Cruise, Don’t Bruise motorcycle ride. These are the WindSisters, who represented the largest bike group that participated that day. More than 200 bikes did the ride, and I understand more than $20,000 was raised. We’ll be back next year.
