• Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ringers, Cathedral Halls. Beginner adults from 6.30- 7.30pm. Those of High School age, 5.30-6.30pm. Children in Primary 5-7 from 6.30- 7.30pm. Thursday 27th August, The Stirling Women for Independence - a non political organisation meet up regularly to talk, discuss and share ideas on all kinds of issues. Our next meeting is being held in the Guide Hut in Glebe Street at 7.30pm. Our guest speaker is Maggie Mellon who will be talking about Cornton Vale and social justice.
Saturday 29th August, Lunchtime Concert in the Cathedral. Alicja Smietana and Sasha Grynyuk play Howard Blake’s music for violin and piano 12.00 to 13.00. Admission £5 adult, £2 child/student/unemployed. Light soup lunch available, by donation to charity, afterwards in the Cathedral Hall.

• Sunday 6th September, Art’n’Mart Community Market, Victoria Halls. 11am-4pm. Entry is free but we would ask people to make a donation to our local charity of the month as they enter the venue instead. This month it is the BBs and Start-Up Stirling so donations of tins and packets please!

Visitors admission The first talk after the summer break
is at 7:30pm in the Braeport Centre. Dame Anne McGuire who retired as MP in May 2015 will talk on “My Life in Parliament”. Our new programme of events consists of 9 talks (incl. Dunblane Lecture), Spring Walk/Lunch, Summer Outing and a Christmas Lunch. A warm welcome is extended to all so why not come along and give it a try! is £2.
• Wednesday 16th September, Dunblane Accordion & Fiddle Club. The opening monthly meeting is at 7.30pm in the Victoria Hall Dunblane. The guests will be “ The Fergie McDonald Band” . All players any instrument warmly welcomed.
• Wednesday 16th September, Stirling and District Embroiderer’s Guild welcome guests and visitors to their regular monthly meetings. Our next talk in the Smith Museum in Stirling starts at 7.15pm is titled The Narrow Land Between Sea and Sky. Curious? Wool, Patagonia. Intrigued? Please join us.
