I had to renew my Spanish driving
licence
last month and thought that I was going to have to do all kinds of tests and then wait forever to get it but no, one trip to the authorised medical centre, a couple of tests and a few questions, smile for the camera and 2 weeks later my new licence arrived in
the post. I have to say when I saw the envelope from ‘trafico’ I thought it must be a fine or something as I never imagined it would be so quick and painless.
There is a lot in the news recently about saving water and if some decent rain doesn’t come soon we really do need to conserve as much as possible. Just try making a few changes like making sure the dishwasher or washing machine are not put on for half a load and instead of leaving the water running, turn the tap off and on when cleaning your teeth. We even go as far as having a plastic bottle of water in the toilet cistern - this really does save a lot of water over the year and an obvious bonus is you save money from your water bill.
We are starting to put together the Marina Alta issue of the Professionals magazine and once again the space is filling up quickly. We have taken the decision to cap the pages to 64, plus the Food and Drink guide, as we felt if it continued to grow it would mot have the impact for both advertisers and of course the readers. Turn to page 29 to find out more.
There is a lot going on this month so hopefully I will see you at one of the many events.
