Colour trends
We are so lucky to be living in a country where the quality of light means we can use colours in our homes that we may have avoided in the drab grey of good old Blighty.
So, this month I thought I´d share some of the on trend colours as inspiration for you to get out and do some shopping and home improvements!!
Zingy lime green; a great colour that’s as refreshing as a gin and tonic on a hot day! Add it to your room in small doses on cushions and lampshades or be brave and highlight an accent wall to bring real zest to your room.
Crystal clear sky blue; bring the outside in with this light, bright yet calming and serene colour that can be used in healthy doses in any room where you want to relax and unwind.
Sunshine yellow; a bright happy colour that cannot fail to bring a smile to your face. Use it sparingly in artwork or cushions or make it pop even more by pairing it with soft shades of grey and white.
Aqua blue; an all-time favourite of mine, this colour will always look like an inviting pool of cool water in this hot Mediterranean climate.
Team it with
neutral beige for a bang on trend scheme.
Freshly squeezed orange; the colour of the juice from plump Valencian oranges, this has long been the colour of summer. For a quick spruce-up,
add orange or tangerine scatter cushions to bring to life a neutral sofa.
If you are looking for help with your makeover, however big or small, please call into our studio or give me a call.
