Surviving your grandchildren

Some of us are at a certain age and fortunate enough to have grandchildren. It’s wonderful to see the circle of life be reborn, to support mum when the grandkids are babies, to help them take their first walk, their first ride on a bike and to play with them, and let’s be honest – to spoil them as well. It’s also nice to be able to ‘give them back’.

It can be tiring, even exhausting playing with an 8 year old when the last time you played so hard was measured in decades perhaps, and not years. They can certainly make you feel your age. That’s where we come in.

Blush is your oasis of calm and a place where you can recharge your batteries. Perhaps a spa pedicure could rub some life into those aching feet. Or a facial to freshen up the person staring back at you in the mirror. A manicure and nails done to get you back to your best. And even a massage to rub a little bit of youthfulness back into your back!

In September, we’re offering all you grandparents a full body massage plus a facial for just 65€ (normally 80€). It’s an opportunity to ease yourself into autumn, to relax, and to untie some of those muscles that you’d forgotten you had. It’s not just for ladies either, all you granddads are also welcome to a little bit of pampering and self-indulgence, and why not?

Simply call the salon on 966 482 106 and make your appointment and who knows, you may just surprise your grandchildren next time you see them, and enjoy playing and spoiling the grand-kids all over again. After all, isn’t that what being a grandparent is all about?
