farmers in Nigeria and many have started to collaborate in groups. Skretting and Oxfam Novib will collaborate with two groups, the Farmer Development Union (FADU) and the Justice, Peace and Development Commission
(JPDC) on a one-year pilot project to promote sustainable farming; it will facilitate sharing best practices; improve productivity and product quality, while preserving the environment. Meanwhile, large international aquaculture players are also showing
interest and they can bring expertise in organising the fish value chain and distribution in Nigeria. Seyi said: ‘I am optimistic about the future for Skretting Nigeria and we are already preparing the next steps to meet extruded catfish feed demands for the coming decade.’ FF
