Pool Blaster Battery Powered Leaf Vac

Now available from Aqua Spa Supplies is the new Pool Blaster®

Battery

Powered Leaf Vacuum. The product is completely self contained and does not rely on garden hose pressure to get the job done. Instead, its ‘on-board’ motor, transmission and safety clutch combine to lift leaves right off the pool floor and deposit them into its high capacity debris bag.

At the heart of the Pool Blaster®

Leaf Vacuum is its unique super- suction Propeller. This wide bladed prop enables the product to pull leaves up and off the pool floor effortlessly. While creating suction, the slowly rotating propeller continuously keeps debris, such as leaves, seeds and twigs, agitated and moving, which avoids blockages experienced with ‘Pressure Side’ (garden hose) Leaf Vacuums. The Pool Blaster® Leaf Vacuum features Water Tech’s proprietary Safe-Blade System™ to assure worry-free operation.

Fast to set up and use, the product fits standard pool poles, is powered by 8 ‘AA’ alkaline batteries, which are included with unit, and has a run time of two to three hours.

The Neptune Pool Lift From Dolphin Mobility

Dolphin Mobility, one of the UK’s leading suppliers and installers of pool lifts and hoists is delighted to announce the addition of the Neptune Pool Lift to its ever growing portfolio of pool lifts and access solutions. The design of the Neptune enables it to be used with ground and deck level pools. There are three seating options available with the Neptune; two transportable chairs and a stretcher trolley all of which combine to make

it a very popular solution for hydrotherapy pools as well as the more standard public swimming pools.

The Neptune features a manually operated winch system which has been designed to provide the user with a comfortable and safe transfer from the poolside into the water while maintaining their dignity at all times. From a carer’s perspective, the Neptune is very user friendly and can be secured to the floor by the installation of a ground level socket or surface mounted base plate. As pool side space is often restricted the Neptune can be easily removed when not in use and a transporter is available should it be required.

“At Dolphin Mobility, we have a team of specialist advisors trained to help clients select the right pool lift for their specific requirements and as we are not aligned to any one manufacturer we can offer truly independent advice to our customers,” commented Craig Dunnage, director at Dolphin Mobility.

Golden Coast is reminding customers that the Duratech DURA and DURA+ heat pumps in its latest catalogue are the top choice not just for efficient, quiet performance but also for durability.

Duratech By Name – Durable By Nature

The company points out that both ranges, which are covered by a two-year warranty, now benefit from titanium heat exchangers, which are highly resistant to corrosion by salt, chlorine and bromine.

Golden Coast Managing Director Jamie Adams says: “These excellent pumps are built to a high specification by Propulsion Systems, a Belgian specialist manufacturer. As well as titanium, they make use of PVC and other durable materials to ensure a long and reliable product life.” The pumps boast high coefficients of performance, and by extracting heat from the environment they run much more economically than conventional heating and cooling systems. For each kW consumed by the heat pump, 5 kW or more can be

returned to the pool. Meanwhile, the design of their compressors, fans and ventilators keeps noise levels down to little more than a whisper.

In the UK, Duratech DURA and DURA+ heat pumps are available only through Golden Coast.
