Founded in 1949 as the Ottawa Light Car Club, the Motorsport Club of Ottawa (MCO)
has grown to become one of the largest in Ontario, with more than 500 members. As with most car clubs, it is a non-profit, all-volunteer club and, to say that they have a
busy schedule of events is an understatement. I had the pleasure of working with Rob Switzer last summer when the Ottawa Chapter
of the Ferrari Club of America partnered with the MCO for our Festival Track Day in June. The professionalism and what the MCO brought to the table was impressive. A really nice surprise for me was discovering that my fellow co-worker at Laurysen
Kitchens, John Hodge, is now the Vice President of the MCO. It was great to be able to sit down with John after work and share our passion for cars and learn more about MCO. 2014 marked the 65th Anniversary of the MCO. Here are some of the events the MCO
